When I met up with Nick and Rachel for their engagement photos, I knew we'd be a great fit. There was

good amount of time between our first meeting and their wedding on the east coast, so when I flew into

Newark airport and drove into Belvidere, I was so excited to see old friends. The small town where they

got ready was incredibly charming. Seattle is such a new city that to see any sort of history is pretty

wild and I spent one of the mornings walking around the town in awe of the architecture. They got

married in an old church along the state border and then we headed to the Delaware Water Gap for some

photos along the river. The day before, I had scouted out a spot down by the river where two older men

waded in to break from the humidity. Monarch butterflies surrounded them. Their wedding reception

was held at Jack's Barn, a redone loft that also holds antiques in its shop and market. What I would give

to shoot here again! Nick and Rachel,  you two are something else. You allow play into your relationship

and it's so beautiful to see.

I brought along my super 8 camera as well to use up the last of the discontinued Kodak Ektachrome:
