callie + ryan | pacific northwest forest

As I laid in bed last night trying to fall asleep, I kept thinking to myself..."What's the point of working this hard if I'm not showing anything?". I've really neglected my blog this year and have so many lovely things to plaster all over it. So here's Callie and Ryan. I photographed Ryan's sister's wedding last year and so when they inquired about maybe doing an anniversary shoot, I was really thrilled. We headed east where we could explore some of the wooded areas and rivers and then we'd continue on to another location where they could get some portraits in their wedding dress and suit.

I can't tell you how inspiring it is to climb around a beautiful place and have the freedom just get outside and take our time. These two... so sweet and cozy with each other. Attached at the hip. I was really excited to make the bouquet that Callie carries in these photos. It included some clippings from my parent's garden (thanks, mom and dad!), some spray and juliette roses, acorn branches and juniper berries.
