Vine and Flourish A Fall Reflection and Spring 2017 Dates
Carly Bish and myself came together one afternoon realizing just how much we've learned over the course of the last several years in the wedding industry. It's continually been a fruitful season as we've opened up our eyes to seeing more raw, emotional moments throughout the wedding day as well as putting our clients first rather than our audience. Thus came Vine and Flourish.
In May, we gathered with other talented photographers eager to learn and conducted our Spring Vine and Flourish. And in November, we gathered again with a new group of talented photographers to close out our seasonal workshop and come down from the end of such a busy summer. The excitement was present and as we powered through the day and shared what we've learned, Carly and I continued to feel an immense amount of gratitude and creativity. At the end of our classroom time, we went out into the Pacific Northwest woods and documented a real couple who was just married recently. Our styling and dried florals and foliage were crafted beautifully by Sara Jane Camacho of THATCH FLORAL FIELD NORTH (table) and BLUE BOX BAKERY (cake), with paper goods by LIBBY TIPTON and hair and make up by Megan Bingham of OFF WHITE BRIDE . A sincere thanks toour lovely and affectionate couple, Rachael and Keith. Rachael was all dressed ina Zara one piece and ALEXANDRA GRECCO skirt from THE DRESS THEORY.
And guess what? These workshops have been going so well that we'd love to offer a newer, amplified version of Vine and Flourish for our upcoming Spring gathering.
We'd love to teach you all about client interactions, generating a strong portfolio, e-mail organization and how to get to those e-mails in a timely manner, organizing your work day to get things done efficiently, how we shoot and see light and emotion as well as streamlining your workflow to get images edited through lightroom and uploaded to their gallery. Not to mention, we'll be providing a live shoot with a real couple in a PNW location (trees! look outs! mountains!) to show you just how we get those images we do. We want to challenge you to get those difficult city shots, to see lines and light and make a busy location work for your imagery. After our last two workshops we decided it would be best to split the curriculum into two days as we kept ending our talks close to midnight! The first day will go over all things business and our second day will have our styled shoot and walking through our editing process.
Seats cost $1250 and are limited. We've got a ton of surprises in store. Join us!
