Vincent and Kristen | An Intimate Oakland Wedding at Kronnerburger

"They're family to me, those who work at Kronnerburger. We want those closest to us who are preparing the meal to be as much a part of our day. Also our dog, Oakley, is our pride and joy".  I listened intently to Vincent and Kristen sharing their hopes for their wedding day, knowing just how much I wanted to focus on what meant the most to them. I wanted to document their day from their chocolate lab's perspective as well as those who work with Vince at Kronnerburger. Two entities who offer such a profoundly spiritual and emotional support.

A few days before the wedding, Vince asked to hop on the phone since there'd been a change of plans. They'd had reservations at San Francisco City Hall that ultimately needed to be changed. They'd connected more with a viewpoint that looked over Oakland than the walls of the city hall and so rain or shine, they gathered their closest family and wed overlooking the foggy bay. I'm so glad they did.

Joining their close friends and family at Kronnerburger after the ceremony, Kristen and Vince shared drinks and a colorful and extraordinary service of food throughout the evening as the rain fell on the windows of their Oakland restaurant.

I absolutely loved the orchid, rose and naturally pink arrangements in floral frogs by HoneySuckle Rose Flowers | Oakland. that went along so well with the marble counters and blue booths of the restaurant.

I am so enamored by the intimacy of the wedding and the rush of the wind and rain. Something that's been a recurring and welcome theme in my weddings over the last year. :)
